Present

Hi, I’m Jay Vee—a physician with a passion for exploring the incredible potential of human performance. From the adrenaline-fueled world of motorsport to the precision of medicine and the art of personal growth, my interests are as dynamic as the challenges I take on.

When I’m not diving into the latest medical innovations or analyzing motorsport breakthroughs, you’ll find me immersed in creative projects, fitness, or tinkering with tech. I thrive on curiosity and the drive to connect seemingly unrelated ideas into something extraordinary.

History

I’ve always been curious—asking questions, digging deeper, and chasing knowledge. It’s who I am. I’ve spent much of my life in school, working odd jobs in labor, sales, and service to make it all possible. Along the way, I earned degrees in life sciences, forensics, and medicine. Each step has shaped me, fueled my curiosity, and inspired me to keep learning and exploring what’s possible.

My passion lies in using technology to make a difference, particularly through image-guided procedures in medicine. These are minimally invasive techniques that help diagnose or treat patients with incredible precision. It’s at the cutting edge of science, combining skill, advanced instruments, and innovation to achieve things that once seemed impossible. That blend of technology and human potential is what fascinates me most—both in medicine and in motorsport.

I’ve loved Formula 1 for as long as I can remember. It’s the peak of engineering, speed, and performance. But it’s not just about the races—it’s about the human element. What happens to the body under G-forces, in extreme heat, or after a crash? How do drivers handle the pressure, the setbacks, and the triumphs? These questions drive me, and I find so much inspiration in their stories.

As an international medical graduate, I know what it feels like to climb the ranks when the odds aren’t in your favor. It’s like being on the starting grid in bad conditions, with your chance at the podium feeling out of reach. You have to stay focused, keep your head down, and push forward, lap after lap. That kind of resilience isn’t just for motorsport—it’s something we all need in life.

The why

In my work as a doctor and personal trainer, I’ve seen how powerful the mind can be. It can push us to reach new heights, or it can hold us back. Whether it’s in life or in moments when we need to perform at our best, the right mindset can make all the difference. That’s what I bring to The Jay Vee Project: a way to explore how people push boundaries, how innovation changes lives, and how we can all learn from these extraordinary stories.

This blog is my way of sharing what I’ve learned—and what I’m still learning—about medicine, motorsport, and what it means to achieve something great. It’s about connecting ideas, finding inspiration, and discovering how far we can go when we embrace curiosity and innovation.
